Less than a mile from the square that shares it’s name, Lafayette Society for Performing Arts (LSPA) is the home of The Lafayette Ballet Company, Young Singers of West Georgia, The Lafayette Theatre Company and The Lafayette Dance Academy. The Lafayette Ballet Guild, The Lafayette Theatre Academy, The Azalea Storytelling Festival, and The Lafayette Outreach Program also call LSPA home, meaning there is never a shortage of artistic expression.
LSPA is an instrumental organization in promoting cultural awareness, artistic expression and appreciation for the performing arts. The LSPA provides resources and support for the artistic communities under its umbrella and seeks to create various opportunities for enjoying the performing arts. Through participating in LSPA’s multiple endeavors, artists and audiences alike collaborate to realize meaningful experiences through live productions meant to energize the individual imagination and to enrich the community as a whole.
